County Police arrest a Wilmington man, after he robbed a pizza delivery worker.

Police say, Scott Nichols approached a 47-year-old victim with a knife and demanded money on Saturday evening.

Police say, the victim complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and Nichols fled on foot.

County Police obtained a search warrant for Nichols' residence. Officers found the knife used in the incident, along with other evidence that assisted them in linking him to the crime.

Nichols was charged with robbery in the first degree, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, aggravated menacing and terroristic threatening.

He was committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institute after failing to post $127,000 cash bail.
