A Dover teen who had been missing for a week is found murdered in Leipsic.

Police have charged 21-year-old Tony Mozick Jr., in the murder of 19-year-old Taylor Owens.

Owens' charred remains were found in a wooded area along the 200 block of Denny Street in Leipsic Saturday.

Police say Owens was killed during a fight with Mozick, who then allegedly tried to get rid of her body by burning it.

When police initially reported Owens missing, they did not suspect foul play. Her body's been turned over to the medical examiner's office to determine the exact cause of death.

Mozick faces charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. He's being held without bail.

A makeshift memorial in memory of Owens rests near a tree, where she was killed.
