By The Associated Press

The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a man who jumped into the Delaware River near the Golden Point Marina in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

The Coast Guard says in a news release that the 23-year-old man jumped into the river about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The man's girlfriend reported the incident to police, saying he went under a dock and did not come back to the surface.

The News Journal reports a 25-foot rescue boat responded, along with local police, firefighters and dive team members who were searching for the man.
