Silent vigil in Lewes to oppose military action in Syria
By Mark Fowser

Opponents of military action in Syria will stage a silent vigil in Lewes Monday night.

Deb Schultz plans to be among them, and tells our sister station, Delaware 105.9 why she and others are concerned.

"I just feel like if we go ahead and do this, then whatever happens, we're going to be committed to the consequences, and that could lead to a very big expansion of war in an area that's already very unbalanced, destabilized and dangerous," says Deb Schultz.

Participants are invited to bring signs, candles and flashlights to the vigil, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Monday night at Savannah Road and King's Highway.
