MD man charged with carjacking
By Carl Kanefsky

Delaware State Police say a Maryland man is behind bars, facing charges including carjacking and robbery.

Troopers say it was just after 3:30 Saturday afternoon, when Jerome Williams demanded money from a woman sitting in her car in the Dover Downs parking lot.

The woman was able to get out of the car and run, and Police say Williams was then seen searching the car, and running away while carrying a knife.

Officers arrested Williams when they saw him running through the parking lot of the nearby J.C. Penney store.
