By Peter MacArthur

A Wilmington man was attacked and robbed Wednesday night while walking on Lancaster Pike.

Police say it happened around 10:15 near North DuPont Road.

The victim says he heard three men running behind him, began running himself to get away, and was ultimately caught, kicked and punched.

The robbers took money from his pockets and ran off.

The 37 year old man was treated for a torso injury at St. Francis Hospital.
