Blue collar hearings coming to NCC
Updated Thursday, September 12, 2013 - 1:55pm
Government, business and labor leaders are soliciting input on how to kick Delaware's blue collar economy into gear.
The Blue Collar Jobs Task Force is holding upcoming meetings in all three counties in hopes of collecting input from citizens that could be constructive moving forward.
One happens at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington on September 23rd from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Another takes place on October 15th in Middletown in the Council Chambers, also from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Meetings for Kent and Sussex Counties are coming in November.
The panel is supposed to present its findings and recommendations to the Governor by January for his consideration.
