A Newark man faces charges in the robbery of a gas station.

State police say 28 year-old Charles Mcall IV robbed the Exxon on East Chestnut Hill Road Friday night.

During the robbery the suspect struggled with the clerk, cutting the victim's hand.

Mcall fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

After authorities obtained a warrant for Mcall's arrest, the suspect turned himself in on Saturday night.

He's now behind bars in lieu of bail.
