Police investigate another Wilm shooting, leaving teenager injured

A teenage male suffers from a gunshot wound after another shooting in Wilmington.

Police say, they responded to the 400 block of N. Madison Street just before 4 p.m. on Sunday.

After a reported shooting, officers located a 16-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to his pelvic region.

Police say, the victim was exiting a corner store at W. 5th and N. Madison Streets, where he realized he was shot.

He was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
