Colonial School District reports possible child luring
By Tom Lehman

Colonial School District says a man may have attempted to lure a 10-year-old who was waiting for a school bus Wednesday morning.

District officials say the boy was waiting for the bus at the corner of Hunn and Bassette Avenues in Wilmington Manor, when he was approached by a man who asked the child if he was lost or needed a ride.

The child ran to a neighbors house and reported the incident.

The man is described as heavy-set with a dragon tattoo on his wrist and a wedding band tattooed on his finger.

He was reportedly driving a black Silverado with a dent in the tailgate that may have had Maryland registration.

Anyone with information can call county police.
