Four days after perhaps the most thrilling finish in Wesley College history, the football office was still buzzing even as they prepared to face rival Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday night.

Joe Callahan's 42-yard "Hail Mary" completion to Jeremiah Howe on 4th-and-21 with 52 seconds to go proved the difference in Wesley's 30-27 win over Salisbury.

The victory marked the 9th straight win in the "Route 13 Rivalry" over Salisbury.

While in many circumstances a team might get to bask in the glow of such a moment, the reality is there is another daunting task looming: A road trip to open up the brand-new, on-campus Crusader Stadium in Belton, Texas.

Wesley and UMHB have met 8 times during the past 8 seasons, with the only miss coming in 2009. Last year the teams met twice: A 32-25 Cru win at Miller Stadium in the regular season, and then a 32-20 victory at Belton High School in the South Region Final.

Oddly there has been a pattern to the eight games, with the teams alternating two victories each on their way to a 4-4 head-to-head record.

Both teams will have new quarterbacks for the matchup, although there are several returning stars from the matchups of the past, including Cru defensive tackle Silvio Diaz who posted 3 sacks in the game at Wesley last year, and Wesley's Sosthene Kapepula who had an interception and game-ending knockdown in the 2011 South Region Championship game.

The 10,000-seat Crusader Stadium opens Saturday night at 7pm (ET), WDEL's coverage begins at 6:30 from Belton, Texas, located about an hour north of Austin.
