Wilm. shooting victim succumbs to injuries

Wilmington police say a city man who was shot in the head earlier this week has died from his wounds.

Willie Moore, 47, was pronounced dead at Christiana Hospital Wednesday after being shot in the head on Monday.

Police say Moore was found lying on the sidewalk at the 1800 block of N. West Street after officers responded to a report of shots fired around 11:07 p.m. that evening.

The suspects are described as being in their late teens or early twenties with short hair and dark clothing.
