Concealed deadly weapon arrest
By Michelle Provencher

Wilmington Police are led to a man carrying a concealed weapon following reports of a burglary.

City police say officers arrived at the 300 block of West 14th Street around 10:30 a.m. to investigate a burglary.

Cops say 18-year-old David Cotton matched a suspect description and was found sitting on the porch of a house on the 1300 block of North Tatnall Street.

Cotton allegedly took off on foot before tossing out a .32 caliber revolver.

He was caught and is being charged with resisting arrest and concealing a deadly weapon.
