Residential fire in Wilmington

Fire and smoke damages two Wilmington homes Saturday morning.

The City Fire Chief's Office says 26 fire and ems personnel were deployed to 1908 Lancaster Avenue at 7:12 a.m.

Less than thirty minutes later the fire was placed under control.

1906 Lancaster Ave withstood some smoke damage.

Officials say three adults and one child are displaced by the house fire, and Red Cross assistance has been requested.

The incident is currently under investigation.
