St. Mark's blanks DMA for third shutout

St. Mark's posted their third shutout of the season with a 31-0 victory over Delaware Military Academy at home Friday night.

The 1st quarter started off in DMA's favor. They forced a St. Mark's fumble causing them to turn the ball over on their first possession. DMA then threw an interception allowing the Spartans an opportunity to capitalize.

Spartan QB Zach Whitehead, connected with TJ Brown, Michael Adams and Marques Normand to score 21 consecutive points before the end of the half.

The Seahawks couldn't get past the defense of the Spartans. St. Mark's went on to score two more times including a field goal from kicker Jeffery Richards, to put the final score at 31-0.

St. Mark's record improves to 4 -1, while Delaware Military Academy drops to 3-2.
