Delaware returned to practice Sunday evening after their bye week, getting ready for this Saturday's CAA showdown at Rhode Island.

Dave Brock said there was an extra "bounce in their step" during the drills that took place after taking Saturday off.

During the off week, Brock says the team was off on Monday and Tuesday, and then had "light, but productive" practices on Wednesday and Thursday. He says the coaches were able to look at game tape to evaluate the team during the week as well. A "heavier" practice followed on Friday before giving the team and the staff off on Saturday. The Sunday work included some game planning for URI.

Brock added the lighter week also helped get them back healthier, saying he expects Bobby Kennedy, Zach Kerr, Nick Boyle, and Julian Laing to be available to practice Tuesday.

Rhode Island enters the game Saturday at 3-5, and 2-3 in the CAA.
