VIDEO: UNCW's Coach on Sanford's Johanna McMillan

Sanford alum Johanna McMillan will get a chance for some quality minutes as she plays her first season at UNC-Wilmington this winter.

McMillan, who won state championships with the Warriors in 2010 and 2011, averaged 11.6 points per game as a senior for her team that lost in the state semifinals to Caravel.

UNCW, under 2nd year coach Adell Harris, went 5-26 last year, but returns just one player who played more than a single game last year. McMillan is one of eight new faces including six in the backcourt.

The Mullica Hill, New Jersey-native was picked as a Top 100 prospect by and previously earned a WDEL High School Athlete of the Week citation.
