Brothers busted in domestic turned drug sweep
By Peter MacArthur

Two brothers are facing charges after police responded to their residence for a domestic dispute and discovered drugs and weapons inside.

Officers arrived on the first block of Fairway Road in the Hunters Crossing Apartments complex in Newark early Tuesday morning.

Police had to get themselves inside to see what was happening and found 19 year old Trevor Adkins and 22 year old Travis Adkins coming out of a bathroom.

As they checked for other people inside, officers spotted pills and drug paraphernalia in the living room.

They found pot, prescription drugs, a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and more.

Both suspects are behind bars in lieu of 144 thousand dollars bail.
