It happened around 8 a.m. on the 900 block of C Street.

Police say two children, whose ages are four and five years old, were waiting on the front steps of their home when a man driving a silver and blue van tried to lure them into his vehicle.

The children ran inside and told their mother, who ran outside and saw the man drive away.

The suspect is described as 30 to 40 years old, clean shaven, and wearing a suit jacket.
