Milltown 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint

State troopers are searching for the masked man who robbed a Milltown convenience store at gunpoint.

It happened around 12:14 a.m. in the 7-Eleven at 5601 Kirkwood Highway.

Police say a man armed with a gun entered the store and demanded money from the cashier.

The employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the man, who then fled from the scene. No one was injured.

Anyone with information can call the Troop 2 Robbery Unit at (302) 834-2630 extension 6 or through the Delaware State Police Mobile Crime Tip Application.

Tips can also be submitted to Delaware CrimeStoppers at 1 (800) TIP-3333 or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
