Encouraging innovation through the use of technology is the next big thing to growing small business.

Jennifer Hill, an entrepreneurial advocate and frequent commentator on MSNBC's 'Your Business' show, was the keynote speaker at the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Luncheon.

Hill says technology helps communities connect.

"The ability to be a part of a bunch of different communities is easier now than ever before. It doesn't mean not only your local geographic area, but your industries, your social networks, there are so many ways that technology allow us to be a part of multiple communities at once," she said.
