A Newark man on probation is back in trouble, caught, police say, with a gun on him.

18-year-old Javier Kaminski of Plover Drive is charged with firearms possession and resisting arrest.

Police say he led them on a foot chase on the 300 block of North Franklin Street Thursday night.

Police say the handgun Kaminski tossed during the pursuit was a loaded 40 caliber.

He's being held on $15,000 bail.
