The Delaware By Hand Holiday Market is tomorrow at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover.
"What sort of sets it apart from almost every other show that you'll find anywhere within the season is that this is exclusively Delaware. Every person that's working here, our entire artist membership is based on a residency program, so it's really all individuals based in our backyard," explains curator Ryan Grover.
He tells WDEL they'll have 40 vendors selling their local wares.
"There's anything from glass blowing, basket weaving, furniture making, photography, ceramics, a number of jewelers at all different price points," says Grover.
No matter what you buy, you'll have a personalized shopping experience.
"This way you get to meet the people, who actually created it. They can give you demonstrations, your children can meet them. You can create not only something beautiful for your house or beautiful for your own back, but you can also have this memory with you for the rest of your life," Grover says.
He says don't wait! Most items don't last long. While you're supporting local artists, you can also explore the Biggs Museum and grab a free sample of Dogfish beer.
The Delaware By Hand Holiday Market runs from 9 a-m to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
