Video: Highlights of Archmere vs. DMA

Francis McVey scores two touchdowns to aid in Archmere's victory over Delaware Military Academy at McKean.

The Seahawks started off hot in the 1st half. Tyler Lewis made the defensive play for DMA to stop Brian Rogers from attempting a pass. DMA continued their defensive effort. They were too aggressive, as they were called for numerous penalties, including a pass interference to help the Auks continue their drive.

Ultimately, DMA would score first. Quarterback Sean O'Brien kept the football to for a 35 yard run into the end-zone. The extra point made the score 7 to 0.

In the 3rd quarter, Archmere shifted into gear. Rogers connected with Francis McVey for 71 yards to score the Auks' first touchdown of the game, making the score 7 to 7.

Archmere pushed for a score in the beginning of the 4th quarter. McVey ran the ball 14 yards for the score, and with the extra point Archmere jumped in front of DMA. The score was 14 to 7.

DMA would try to make a play, but an unfortunate snap pushed them back to the 49 yard line with 1:24 left in the 4th quarter.

Archmere won the game 14 to 7. Auks' head coach, Jerry Ambrogi, commented on the game saying, "...we do what we do best, when we have to grind it out".

Archmere's record improves to 6-3, while DMA drops to 5-4.
