Police are investigating a potential burglary trend in the Browntown and South Broom Street areas.

Three homes were broken into and robbed this week; one on the 1100 block of South Broom Street on Monday, and both a house on the 300 block of 8th Avenue and a house on the unit block of 9th Avenue on Wednesday.

All three incidents happened during the day from forced entry through a back door.

Wilmington Police are urging residents to report suspicious people seen cutting across backyards or carrying home electronics.
