Delaware Basketball has suspended 1st Team All-CAA guard Devon Saddler for one month for violating University and team policies.

The suspension, which begins immediately, covers at least 7 games, including Sunday's game at Hampton.

In a statement released by the school head coach Monte Ross said, "We hold our student-athletes to high standards academically, athletically, and socially. When those standards are not met, there are consequences. Devon realizes that he now has an obligation to regain the trust of his teammates, coaches, and fans."

Delaware is 0-2 on a young season where Saddler is leading the team with 23 points per game.
