VIDEO: Highlights and Reaction to St. Mark's win

Abbie Mirabella hammered 18 kills in her final game in a St. Mark's uniform as the Spartans edged Concord 16-14 in the final set of the 3rd place match of the DIAA Volleyball Tournament Tuesday night.

Concord won the opening set 25-23, but the Spartans responded by taking 6 of the first 7 points and taking a 13-3 lead on their way to a 25-11 win.

The third set also started strong for the 4th-seeded Spartans with a 5-1 run, but the hitting combination of Katherine Davis, Lexi Portincasa, and Emily Panchak pushed Concord back into the game at 13-12. Portincasa then added a block which tied the set at 14 stopping a match point.

St. Mark's would claim the next two points however to win the 3rd place game over Concord for the 2nd straight season.

St. Mark's finishes at 15-4, while Concord ends at 14-5.
