Jamar Baynard rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown as No. 15 Wesley wrapped up its regular season with a 47-0 shutout over 1st-year Division III program Alfred State Saturday afternoon.

In a must-win game for Wesley to have a chance of making a 9th straight NCAA Tournament, Wesley quickly jumped ahead of the Pioneers 7-0 on a 19-yard touchdown reception by Kyle George from Joe Callahan.

Two drives later, Wesley again took advantage of a short field, going 51 yards, with 42 coming on the legs of Jeremiah Howe who ran a speed sweep 42 yards for his first rushing touchdown of the season. A missed extra point kept Wesley's advantage at 13-0.

Wesley would add 10 points in the second quarter on a 25-yard field goal by Jon Stock and Callahan's 20-yard pass to Bryce Shade. That was Shade's second touchdown in two weeks.

Baynard then took over in the 3rd quarter, as he was the focus of a 6-play, 71-yard drive to open the half which ended on an 18-yard touchdown run, his first as a Wolverine.

Jamar's former Middletown teammate Adam Szczerba added to the advantage with a 26-yard field goal to bring the score to 33-0.
