Four teens charged in Wilmington robbery

A Wilmington man was robbed at gunpoint by a group of juveniles on Friday evening.

Police say a male victim was walking near the 500 block of S. Justison Street, when a group of teenagers struck him several times and displayed a handgun.

Police say they removed the victims property and fled north.

Officers located the group of juveniles running north in the 400 block of North Market Street.

After a foot chase, troopers took two 13 year olds, a 15 year old, and an 18 year old into custody.

All four face robbery charges. Three teens were committed to the New Castle County Detention Center. The 18 year old was committed to Howard Young Correctional in lieu of $20,000 secured bail.
