Salesianum's Donte DiVincenzo scored 10 4th quarter points as the Sals pulled away for a 46-28 victory at Saint Elizabeth Friday night.
The Catholic Conference battle was tied 19-19 with under a minute to go in the first half before the Vikings went ice cold from the field, going over 9 minutes without a field goal, including the entire 3rd quarter.
Shane Clark gave the Sals a lead at halftime by hitting a baseline jumper just before the buzzer, which sparked what became an extended 8-0 run as St. Elizabeth's defense helped keep the Vikings in the game.
Brian O'Neill's 13 points helped earn Salesianum a 31-20 advantage after three quarters before DiVincenzo went to work.
The Villanova commit scored four baskets in the final eight minutes, including a 2-handed slam as the Sals finally put the game away.
He finished with 19 points despite going just 4-of-10 at the line.
Clark added 7 points off the bench for Salesianum, who improved to 7-1 on the season.
Mike Piekarski hit 3 three-pointers to lead Saint Elizabeth (1-5) with 9 points.
