A Delaware man has been arrested on drugs and weapons charges following a traffic stop.

State police say 29-year-old Stephen Obeda of Felton was arrested Friday evening after a trooper pulled over a car he was in that was traveling without headlights in Woodside.

Police say the trooper found two handguns wrapped in a towel and also recovered heroin and marijuana. Police say they found additional quantities of heroin during a search of Obeda's house.

Obeda is being held on drugs and weapons charges at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center. It wasn't immediately clear if he had a working telephone number.

Police say the driver of the car was issued a traffic summons, and two other passengers were charged with misdemeanor drug crimes.
