Gas prices fall as chillier weather arrives
Updated Monday, January 20, 2014 - 9:28am
Decrease in demand allows Delaware motorists to see a price drop at the pump this week.
According to AAA Mid-Atlantic, the cost of a gallon of unleaded regular fell seven cents to a statewide average of $3.35.
Spokesperson Jana Tidwell says, "Like the weather throughout the region, prices at the pump continue to thaw slightly, primarily due to declining crude oil prices."
Tidwell says gas prices could continue to drop in the coming weeks, if demand and crude oil prices remain low.
