State police are reminding you to not leave valuables in your car.

Troopers say they've investigated 12 thefts from vehicles in the parking lot of the Crown Plaza Hotel on Naamans Road in Claymont.

They say in each case, a window was smashed, and things like GPS units and purses were taken.

They've also investigated four similar thefts from the parking lots of the stores and restaurants on Rocky Run Parkway on Concord Pike.

Anyone with information is asked to call Delaware State Police at 302-761-6677, or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
