Two officers of the law are injured during an arrest in the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington.

Capitol police say a Superior Court bailiff was trying to take 18-year-old Vincente Maniscalco of New Castle into custody Tuesday when they say Maniscalco struck and injured him and a nearby correctional officer. Maniscalco was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

He was arraigned on charges of assault and resisting arrest. He's in Howard Young prison in default of $62,000 cash bond.
