Chandler named to fill chair on Judicial Nominating Committee
William Chandler has been named by Governor Jack Markell to replace Andre Bouchard as the chair of the Judicial Nominating Committee.
The 11-member Judicial Nominating Committee which was created during the Pete DuPont administration, makes recommendations to Gov. Markell for ALL judicial nominations.
It's rumored that Bouchard is the lead candidate to replace Leo Strine as the Chancellor of the Court of Chancery; he was recently confirmed as the Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court.
