Elena Delle Donne will join Eagles head coach Chip Kelly in making guest appearances during the 2014 Blue-Gold All-Star Basketball games at the Bob Carpenter Center next month.

The March 13 games benefiting Best Buddies of Delaware will feature the top players from the South facing the North's best.

The Girls' game tips off at 1:30, while Kelly and Eagles' GM Howie Roseman headline a reception in the Blue-Gold Club.

After the game, Elena Delle Donne is scheduled to speak on court, before members of the Philadelphia Eagles take on local celebrities and media sponsors in a basketball game.

The Boys' game follows at 4pm, with a half-time slam dunk contest.

Even before tip time, it will be a busy week for the teams.

Tuesday the teams will practice at Wesley College and Sanford at 6pm.

Wednesday, they will spend the day in Dover having lunch with Attorney General Beau Biden, making stops to meet Governor Jack Markell, Superior Court Judge Robert Young, and a visit to Legislative Hall.

Thursday will be the annual banquet at Dover Downs which will honor Hugh Leahy.
