State Police pull a man over for speeding, and in turn bust him for smuggling tobacco.

Delaware troopers say they pulled over Elebechir Lehreitani of Alexandria, Virginia, 38, on I-95 North Tuesday.

State Police says troopers conducted a consent search of the suspect's 2014 Chevrolet Impala and discovered 402 cartons of untaxed cigarettes hidden in the trunk.

The Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement took it from there.

They determined the cigarettes were from North Carolina and he was en route to an unknown destination.

The cartons of cigarettes and $269 cash were seized from Lehreitani.

He was charged with Possession of Untaxed Cigarettes and Attempting to Evade Delaware Excise Tax, and given a ticket for speeding. He was later released on a $6,100 unsecured bail.
