PNC Bank robbed in Claymont

Two masked men robbed a Claymont bank at gunpoint on Wednesday.

It happened at 11:35 a.m. in the PNC Bank on Naamans Road.

One of the men pointed a gun at two tellers while the other one grabbed cash from their drawers, police said.

Both men took off with the money. No one was hurt.

The first suspect was described as being about 5' 8" with a thin build and wearing a mask. He was armed with a handgun, police said.

The second suspect is described as being about 5'6" tall with a thin build and wearing a mask.

No video surveillance was available for release.
