14 students treated and released after school bus accident

More than a dozen students suffered minor injuries, following a school bus accident in Bear.
It happened Thursday at 8:15 a.m., when the school bus was rear-ended by a Kia Soul as it turned into Wilbur Elementary School on Wrangle Hill Road.
The Colonial School District says 45 students were on-board the bus at the time of the accident. 14 students were taken to Christiana Hospital for treatment, but all have been released.
Madison Brooks of Newark, who was behind the wheel of the Kia, was cited for inattentive driving and failure to provide insurance. whether anyone will face charges in connection with the crash.
