Bullock to Assume Helm of DE Black Caucus

New Castle County Council President Christopher Bullock will officially become president of the state’s Black Caucus at a Sunday event at Canaan Baptist Church.

Also being formally sworn to caucus leadership posts will be Wilmington City Councilwoman Hanifa Shabazz, who takes over as the group’s vice president, State Rep. J.J. Johnson, who will become the caucus' secretary, and Rep. Stephanie Bolden, who becomes the caucus' treasurer.

Superior Court Judge Diane Clarke Streett will swear in the new leadership at the event, which is scheduled for 1 p.m.
