A Middletown couple was arrested after an alleged scuffle with a police officer early Sunday.

Police say Kevin and Tina Conley, both of Middletown, were arrested on as they left the Old School Grill at 380 East Main Street about 1:25 a.m.

An officer responded to a call reporting that Kevin Conley allegedly tried to stab an employee with a switchblade knife. Police say he also threatened to kill another employee.

Police say Tina Conley tried to kick the officer in the groin while Kevin also resisted arrest.

Kevin Conley faces charges of terroristic threatening and unlawful dealing with a switchblade. Police say Tina Conley was charged with second-degree attempted assault, disorderly conduct and hindering the prosecution of a felony.

Kevin Conley is being held at James Vaughn Prison on over $27,000 secured bond while his wife was released on $11,000 unsecured bond. Both were also ordered to avoid contact with restaurant employees.
