Wilm. man killed in motorcycle accident on N. Market St.
By Tom Lehman

A 40-year-old man riding a motorcycle was killed Thursday night after he was struck by a car in Wilmington.

Terrance Williams of Wilmington was riding his motorcycle south on the 3500 block of N. Market Street about 7:15 p.m. when he collided with a car making a left-hand turn into the parking lot of a Walgreens pharmacy, said Cpl. Mark Ivey.

The man was tossed from his motorcycle and "ended up underneath the car," Ivey said.

The preliminary investigation showed Williams was not wearing a helmet. New Castle County paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, Ivey said.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash and Ivey said charges are pending in the accident.
