State Police are currently investigating a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon that involved five people.

51-year-old Timothy Moore of Seaford, was driving his motorcycle northbound on South DuPont Highway near Felton when he was clipped by a driver who allegedly didn't yield the right of way.

Police say Wyonia Hughes, 68 of Felton, made the left-hand turn in her car. Moore tried to brake, but hit the passenger side of Hughes' car.

Both Moore and his wife, Connie, were thrown from the motorcycle. They were admitted to area hospitals in stable condition. Neither one was wearing a helmet.

Wyonia Hughes, and the 7-year-old and 3-year-old girls in her car were properly restrained and treated and released from Kent General for non-life-threatening injuries.

Timothy Moore was taken by EMS to Kent General Hospital. Connie Moore was transported by State Police Helicopter to Christiana Hospital.

Hughes was cited for failing to yield at a cross over.

The intersection of Rte. 13 and Canterbury Road was closed for approximately one hour as the crash was investigated and cleared.
