Milford's newly elected mayor will officially take the oath of office Monday night.

Bryan Shupe will make history as he is sworn into office as the youngest mayor to serve the City of Milford.

Shupe will take the Oath of Office at the City of Milford Council Chambers on Walnut Street at 7 p.m.

Two weeks ago, Milford citizens voted for a new mayor for the first time in almost 30 years. Bryan Shupe, who currently represents Ward 1 for City Council, was elected by a large margin as Milford's new mayor; he received 648 of the 948 votes cast in the mayoral race, a margin of more than 65 percent of the vote.
