Phillies hope scoring surge continues vs. Miami

A.J. Burnett starts for Philadelphia tonight as they Phillies look to keep their bats hot against the visiting Marlins.

Marlon Byrd hit a two-run homer, David Buchanan threw five effective innings as the Phils beat Miami 7-4 last night. Jonathan Papelbon tossed a scoreless ninth for his 18th save in 20 tries. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Philadelphia.

Henderson Alvarez gets the start for Miami tonight.
