Blue Rocks lose, win at Potomac
By Don Voltz

The Blue Rocks couldn't pull off a second straight doubleheader sweep but they managed a split on Thursday night.

Potomac beat the Blue Rocks, 2-1, in the first game that was the conclusion of a suspended game last week.

Randolph Oduber won the game for the P-Nats with an RBI single in the bottom of the 7th that broke a 1-1 tie.

In the nightcap, Glenn Sparkman pitched six innings for the Blue Rocks, giving up just one run, as the Rocks downed Potomac 4-1.

The Blue Rocks scored single runs in the first and second innings, then tacked on two insurance runs in the 8th.

The series concludes tonight in Woodbridge, Virginia.
