Hot, humid weather to bring poor air quality Tuesday

A code orange has been issued for northern Delaware Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to be in the nineties with the air hot and humid along the I-95 corridor from Delaware to Washington, D.C.

That means air quality in will be poor, possibly making it difficult to breathe for the elderly, children and those suffering from asthma.

DNREC says thunderstorms Wednesday mean the Code Orange shouldn't stretch into a second day.
