Delaware Tech picks new president

Dr. Mark Brainard has been named the new president of Delaware Tech.
Delaware Tech names its new president.

Dr. Mark Brainard will take over for longtime president Lonnie George, who retired at the end of June.

Brainard had been serving as the college's interim president and was picked after the school's first choice said "no" to the job.

Dr. Murray Hoy declined to leave his job as leader of Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury, Maryland.
