The Delaware Forest Service says a second crew of firefighters is heading west to help fight wildfires.

The 20-person group is set to begin a two-week assignment that will likely involve fighting wildfires in the Pacific Northwest or Northern California.

A team from Delaware just returned from a two-week assignment in Washington State on Aug. 5.

The firefighters will leave their headquarters in Blackbird State Forest near Smyrna at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday for their flight from Harrisburg to Oregon.
