Claymont traffic stop lands Wilmington man in jail

A Wilmington man is behind bars after County Police found drugs and nearly $3,000 in cash on him during a traffic stop.

Police say officers pulled over Terrell Davis for a traffic violation in Claymont's Overlook Colony around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

The cops say they smelled pot coming from the car and found 51 bags of heroin inside, along with marijuana, Oxycodone pills, drug paraphernalia and the money.

Davis is being held at the Howard Young Prison on drug possession and traffic charges.
